To indoctrinate students to automatically 'Pick-up' and 'Clean-up'
Teaching new pupils that cleaning the classroom and blackboards are their responsibility.
1. Have different colored paper torn and rolled
into small balls...
place balls in obscure locations and see how long it takes
students to find and return the balls.
2. Appoint 'Pick-Up' monitors to look over
the room before class
is dismissed.
The monitor should give a green light for
the class to be dismissed.
3. Have occasional scribbles on blackboards or poster boards
and see how
long it takes for a student to react and clean the scribbles.
4. Occasionally utilize the playground to place various articles
of litter
and see who finds and 'Picks It Up'.
5. Have students tell stories of where they
see debris
and what should be
done about it.
6. Recognize students that respond to clean up & 'Pick-Up'. (see link 'Bracelets)
